Welcome to the Refold app data import page! This page is a guide on how to import your data from other time trackers into the Refold personal language trainer app.

To import your data, you will need to have a list of all the various activities you’ve done, categorize them according to the app, format the data correctly, and then upload them to the app on your phone.

General Process

Here is the general process. There are much more detailed instructions in the Google Sheets linked below, as well as a full video tutorial below.

1. Import your data into a personal copy of our import spreadsheets.
   1. Tip: It’s best to set up the CSV on a computer! Editing spreadsheets on a phone is a pain in the @$$ and even small issues can cause the import to fail.
2. Organize your data to match Refold’s expected import format. (Note: If you’re importing from either Toggl or Polylogger our spreadsheets do most of the work for you!)
3. Categorize your actions (assign activity Ids to each action).
4. Download the file as a CSV.
5. Upload the CSV to the Refold App in the “Import Data” screen (can be found in the app’s User Settings).
6. If you make a mistake that affects many actions, you can delete all of the imported actions for today and try again.
